If you can't put your hands on the current electrical schematic for your Demag's serial number, fix that first — before the emergency, not during it.

The industry has changed. What counted as a smart fix in the mechanical era can create a bigger problem on a software-driven crane. The fundamentals — verified parts, proper documentation, qualified diagnostics — haven't moved. They've gotten more important.
